Overview
Historic England records a church of 1882 by Edward Witts with a tower of about 1820: buff coursed rubble gritstone, a roof of banded grey tiles, a plain rectangular five-bay aisleless nave and a three-stage battlemented west tower. Nave windows have plate tracery. A lintel from the former church, inscribed R.B.–H.N.1647, is set over the priest’s door. The interior is unadorned; the font is dated 1861. The benefice is combined with St Mary, Bosley, St Michael, North Rode, and St Saviour, Wildboarclough. Listed Grade II on 14 June 1984 (NHLE 1366197).
