# Holy Trinity Episcopal, Stirling

Holy Trinity is a Category A Scottish Episcopal church at Albert Place, Stirling, designed by Sir Robert Rowand Anderson in 1875–78, in the Diocese of St Andrews, Dunkeld and Dunblane.

## Overview

Historic Environment Scotland lists the church (LB41089, 4 November 1965; upgraded from B to A on 7 January 1997) as an Early Pointed cruciform church with a lean-to narthex at the west gable and a flèche at the crossing, rubble-built with a brick-lined interior. The five-bay nave has piers alternately round and octagonal, a clerestory and a wagon roof. The aisleless choir and side chapel were partly modified internally by Sir Robert Lorimer. Furnishings recorded in the listing include an iron choir screen, a marble pulpit, a brass eagle lectern, a late Gothic gilt altarpiece and stained glass, several windows by Margaret Chilton about 1951.
