# St Peter and St Paul, Hareby

St Peter and St Paul on Hareby Hill, Hareby, Lincolnshire, is a Grade II parish church of 1858 built on earlier walling, in the Diocese of Lincoln.

## Overview

Historic England records a parish church of 1858 on earlier walling, reusing some fourteenth-century details: greenstone rubble and red brick with ashlar dressings and a tiled roof — nave with western bellcote, and chancel. A fourteenth-century cusped niche survives on the west front above a nineteenth-century pointed arch. Roofs and fittings are nineteenth-century; the circular font with pilasters on a bulbous stem is seventeenth-century. A tablet to the Wingate family dated 1920 is possibly by Eric Gill. The church stands on the edge of the Wolds overlooking Old Bolingbroke, now in Bolingbroke civil parish. Listed Grade II on 3 February 1967 (NHLE 1063576); listing NGR TF3389265705.
