St Peter Hungate is a Grade I former parish church on Princes Street, Norwich. Historic England lists a flint church with stone and brick dressings: a two-stage west tower, three-bay nave, single-bay transepts, two-storey south porch and a two-bay chancel rebuilt in 1602.

Overview
A date of 1460 is incised on a north buttress (Norfolk Heritage Explorer also cites 1467 by the north door). Thirteenth-century fabric is recorded; the chancel is partly brick, with lead roofs to the nave and pantiles on the chancel. Windows are largely four-light Perpendicular work. The interior has a hammerbeam roof; at the crossing the trusses are set diagonally so as to intersect.
The suffix Hungate comes from the medieval street name Hundegate. The church was made redundant in 1936 and opened as a museum of ecclesiastical art, later the Hungate Museum of Church Art, which closed in 1995. It passed to Norwich Historic Churches Trust and since 2009 has housed Hungate Medieval Art. Wikipedia notes that the building was added to Historic England's Heritage at Risk Register in 2025.
