St Nicholas’s on Church Road, Gosforth, Newcastle upon Tyne, is a Grade II parish church whose tower and west end were built in 1799 by John Dodds after demolition of an earlier church, with additions by John Dobson in 1820.

Overview
Historic England records sandstone ashlar and a graduated Lakeland slate roof: a three-stage west tower with an octagonal stone spire, aisled nave, and a chancel with a small apse. Further additions date from 1912–13 and 1950. Round-headed windows sit in tall round-arched panels; the interior has elliptical nave arcades and an Ionic chancel arch. Listed Grade II on 10 November 1949 (NHLE 1355218). The parish is Gosforth St Nicholas, in the Diocese of Newcastle.
