# St Michael & All Angels, Knights Enham

St Michael and All Angels at Knights Enham, on the edge of Andover, is a Grade I parish church of Norman origin, mainly thirteenth-century, in the Diocese of Winchester.

## Overview

Historic England records a narrow single-cell church of Norman origin with mainly thirteenth-century features, a shingled bell-turret with spire, a seventeenth-century timber-framed south porch, and a nineteenth-century flint vestry. The external walling is cement rendered; exposed stonework of a filled two-bay thirteenth-century arcade marks a former south aisle. Inside, a timber-framed structure with a rood beam separates nave and chancel; the north nave wall has painted Creed and Lord’s Prayer texts, and there is a Norman tub font. Listed Grade I on 24 February 1950 (NHLE 1093461). The church is in the parish of Andover.
