# St Michael & All Angels, Bromsgrove

St Michael and All Angels at Stoke Prior, on Hanbury Road near Fish House Lane, is a Grade I parish church of early-twelfth-century origin in the Diocese of Worcester, one of the churches of the Parish of Bromsgrove.

## Overview

Historic England records an early-twelfth-century nave, a late-twelfth-century tower in the south-east angle, an early-thirteenth-century chancel, St Catherine’s north chapel, and a short fifteenth-century south aisle, in sandstone ashlar with a shingle spire and tile roofs. Norman work survives in the nave and south doorway. The church was restored several times in the mid to late nineteenth century; a major campaign of 1894–95 was paid for by the salt magnate John Corbett of Stoke Works. Listed Grade I on 16 November 1967 (NHLE 1100179). The parish is Stoke Prior, Wychbold and Upton Warren.
