- April to October 2pm to 4pm with a guide. The church is open Monday to Thursday 8am to 5pm for self guiding or by appointment. While our volunteer guides continue to do a wonderful job at weekends, we are increasingly welcoming visitors during the week and at times when guides may not be available. A new self-guided tour allows everyone to explore the church at their own pace and discover the fascinating 1,300 year history of St Mary’s.
