Overview
Historic England records rubble with ashlar dressings and a Westmorland slate roof: a late-sixteenth-century west tower, three-bay nave with aisles, and a fifteenth-century chancel. An early-fourteenth-century south arcade survives; Jones rebuilt much of the nave and windows in 1857. Eden Nesfield remodelled the chancel in 1877. The churchyard holds the memorial to Henry Jenkins, reputed to have lived to 169. Listed Grade II* on 4 February 1969 (NHLE 1131521).
