# St Mary and All Saints, Droxford

St Mary and All Saints on The Square, Droxford, is a Grade I parish church of Norman origin in the Meon Bridge Benefice, Diocese of Portsmouth.

## Overview

Historic England records a Norman nave and chancel, a north aisle and chapel of about 1200, a thirteenth-century south aisle and chapel (aisles rebuilt in the fifteenth century, chapels in the fourteenth), a west tower of 1599 (plaque over the west door), eighteenth-century renovation of the chancel, and a restoration of 1903. Walls are flint, some plastered, with stone dressings; the tower has brick dressings and a brick parapet; the roof is tiled. The interior keeps medieval arches, a Norman chancel arch, chapel piscinas, the remains of a rood stair, a Jacobean communion rail and altar table, and reset Norman north and south doorways with zig-zag ornament. Listed Grade I on 6 March 1967 (NHLE 1095540).
