# St Martin, Hindringham

St Martin’s at Hindringham, Norfolk, is a Grade I fourteenth-century parish church of flint, with later Perpendicular work, in the Diocese of Norwich.

## Overview

Historic England records a parish church of the fourteenth century with some later Perpendicular details: flint with stone dressings and slated roofs; west tower, nave with north and south aisles and clerestory, south porch, and chancel with north chapel. The five-light Decorated east window has reticulated tracery. Inside are five-bay north and south arcades with octagonal piers, a Perpendicular tower arch and chancel arch, a fifteenth-century arched-braced nave roof, and a fifteenth-century octagonal font with evangelist beasts and shields. Listed Grade I on 6 March 1959 (NHLE 1049373). The church is on Historic England’s Heritage at Risk Register for structural cracks to the tower stair turret and east wall. It is the parish church of Hindringham in the Diocese of Norwich.
