Overview
St John the Baptist's Church is a Grade II listed building located in Aldford, Cheshire, England.
It is an active Anglican parish church in the diocese of Chester. The church was built in 1866 by John Douglas and Richard Grosvenor, 2nd Marquess of Westminster. It features a red sandstone construction with a shingled spire and lancet windows. The interior of the church is adorned with marble pulpit and font, as well as mosaics by Salviati.
The churchyard also contains a medieval cross, a sundial, and the remains of Aldford Castle.
