St John the Evangelist's Church is an active Anglican parish church located in the village of Alvanley, Cheshire, England. 


### Overview

St John the Evangelist's Church is an active Anglican parish church located in the village of Alvanley, Cheshire, England. 

It was built in 1860 and is a Grade II listed building. The church features red sandstone construction with gabled grey slate roofs in the early Decorated style. The interior includes arcades supported by circular piers and stained glass windows dating from the early 20th century. 

The churchyard contains two listed tombs and war graves from World War I.
