St John the Divine is a Grade II High Victorian parish church in Bulwell, Nottingham, designed by William Knight and built of local stone in 1884–85, in the Diocese of Southwell and Nottingham.

## Overview

Historic England lists a church by William Knight in Gothic Revival style: rockfaced Bulwell stone with ashlar and blue lias dressings, concrete tile roofs, coped gables and a spired bell turret at the crossing. The plan is an apsidal chancel, transepts, nave with clerestory and aisles, and a north porch. The chancel has a plastered wooden vault; the nave has an arch-braced roof and four-bay arcades on round and quatrefoil piers. The apse has five stained-glass windows of 1892 by Powell (James Powell and Sons).

Wikipedia dates construction to 1884–85. The church stands off Keys Close (formerly Quarry Road). The listing NGR is SK 53479 45451.
