- It is open every day 10am to dusk, visitors are very welcome (and dogs on leads). Church members are often there arranging flowers, cleaning, etc and love to have a chat, or you may like to sit in one of the old box pews and just listen to the quietness.

Overview
The listing describes fabric of the early twelfth, fourteenth and early nineteenth centuries: a three-stage fourteenth-century west tower with diagonal buttresses, battlements and eight pinnacles; a four-bay nave; south porch; chancel; and north vestry. Rainwater heads dated 1831 mark the demolition of the medieval aisles and the building of the castellated south porch. Walls are rubble limestone and gritstone ashlar with gritstone dressings; lead roofs sit behind parapets.
Inside, a Norman chancel arch (renewed in the nineteenth century) has colonnettes, block capitals and zigzag. Box pews are inscribed with dates from 1661 to 1722. The nave roof re-uses sixteenth-century timbers. A Kempe window of 1911 is in the chancel. Fragments of early-seventeenth-century wall painting, revealed when plaster fell in 2012, were conserved in 2024.
