# St Andrew, Keighley

St Andrew is the Grade II parish church of Keighley, West Yorkshire, rebuilt in 1848 by R. D. Chantrell and now Keighley Shared Church, in the Diocese of Leeds.

## Overview

Historic England lists the building (1199389, 23 February 1955) as Keighley Shared Church of St Andrew and Temple Street Methodist, formerly Keighley Parish Church. The listing dates the church to 1848 by R. D. Chantrell: coursed dressed stone, graduated stone slate roof, west tower, aisled nave, chancel with transepts, south porch and south vestry, in Perpendicular style. Interior fittings include octagonal arcade piers and a font dated 1661. The Church Heritage Record adds that the medieval foundation was rebuilt in 1846–48 and that early medieval cross fragments and medieval grave covers survive. The shared-church website is keighleysharedchurch.org.uk.
