Overview
Historic England records a parish church of 1856 by G. E. Street, in limestone ashlar with plain tiled roofs, stone coped gables and cross finials. The plan is a nave with west bellcote and south porch, and an apsidal chancel with north vestry. The west front has a splayed plinth, two chamfered string courses, and an oculus with plate-traceried quatrefoil and trefoils under a pointed relieving arch. The gabled west bellcote has two pointed openings, each housing a bell.
The east end is distinctive: a tall gable grows from the apse roof, with a three-light window and plate-traceried oculi. Inside, a pointed chancel arch has a chamfered inner order and a chevroned outer order, with semi-circular responds and crocket capitals. The listing notes a semi-circular stone pulpit on a tall pedestal, articulated by a Purbeck marble shaft supporting the book rest. Lincolnshire Heritage Explorer, citing Pevsner, calls the interior plain, with a scissor-braced roof, and mentions a tablet to Mary Alice Walls (died 1877).
