# Holy Trinity, Sibford Gower

Holy Trinity is a Grade II parish church on Acre Ditch in Sibford Gower, Oxfordshire, in the Diocese of Oxford and the parish of Sibford, serving Sibford Gower, Sibford Ferris and Burdrop.

## Overview

Historic England records a church of 1840 by H. J. Underwood, with a porch added in 1897 by W. E. Mills of Banbury. The fabric is squared, coursed ironstone under a slate roof with stone-coped gables. The plan is cruciform, in Early English style, with lancets and triplets of lancets, a gabled stone porch and a gabled stone bellcote on the west end. The Church Heritage Record places the building in the Diocese of Oxford, Archdeaconry of Dorchester, and the parish of Sibford.

The Oxfordshire Historic Churches Trust repeats the listing description. The Wykeham Benefice notes a church at the heart of the three linked villages, open daily from dawn to dusk. The listing cites Pevsner, Oxfordshire (1974) and the Victoria County History of Oxfordshire, volume X.
