Rother Street United Reformed Church stands on Rother Street in Stratford-upon-Avon. The present building opened in 1880 for a Congregational congregation that traces its story to the 1662 ejection of Alexander Beane, vicar of Holy Trinity, and to a meeting house on Rother Street from 1714.

Overview
The National Churches Trust and the church’s own account state that H. S. Paull FRIBA designed the present church in 1878, including a tower and spire and a lecture room at the rear; the opening service was in 1880. A Sunday school was added later. Shakespeare Birthplace Trust records (DR172) place a new Meeting House on Rother Street in 1714, the formation of an Independent church by Solemn Covenant in 1782, and the move into the present building in 1880. In 1972 the Congregational Church and English Presbyterian Church united as the United Reformed Church.
The building is not on the National Heritage List for England. It remains in use, with a weekly Friday coffee morning and weekend hospitality. The tower and spire are the principal street presence on Rother Street.
