# Litlington Congregational Church

Litlington Congregational Church stands on Meeting Lane in Litlington (civil parish in South Cambridgeshire; the imported record places it in Hertfordshire), postcode SG8 0QF.

## Overview

The Congregational Federation records a church established in 1815. The present chapel on Meeting Lane was built in 1863. It is a typical rural nonconformist chapel of the period, with a small hall at the rear and a later kitchen and lobby. It is not a listed building; the village's listed parish church is St Catherine, a separate Anglican building.

Kelly's Directory for Cambridgeshire (1929) noted a Congregational chapel seating about 300. The building remains in use for Sunday worship and community groups. Verified architectural description is limited: sources describe a modest nineteenth-century chapel rather than a building of special architectural designation.
