# All Saints, Huthwaite

All Saints is a Church of England parish church on Blackwell Road, Huthwaite, Nottinghamshire, in the Diocese of Southwell and Nottingham.

## Overview

The Southwell and Nottingham Church History Project records a church begun in 1903 and dedicated in 1905, designed by G Ford Whitcombe of London and built by A B Clarke of Nottingham. It was conceived as a chapel-of-ease for Sutton-in-Ashfield. The plan comprises a nave, chancel, four-bay north aisle on octagonal columns, an unfinished north-west tower, and a north porch. The style is Early English with Arts and Crafts details, including square-headed north windows.

The stone was given by New Hucknall Colliery and hauled from the deep hard seam. A bronze plaque on the north wall commemorates those who laboured at the colliery. Fittings include carved oak choir stalls, pulpit, reredos and bishop's chair, a brass eagle lectern, and an octagonal stone font. The parish profile notes a cruciform baptistry under the chancel. The building is not listed.
