# Holy Trinity, Sykehouse

Holy Trinity is a Grade II parish church on Broad Lane, Sykehouse, in the Metropolitan Borough of Doncaster, South Yorkshire, in the Diocese of Sheffield.

## Overview

Historic England dates the tower to 1721 and the rest of the church to 1869 by C. H. Fowler, in red brick with ashlar dressings and a slate roof, in Gothic Revival style. A plaque on the south side of the tower names John Gibson and the date 1721. The plan is a west tower, four-bay nave with south porch and north aisle, and a narrower chancel with north vestry. The tower is a simple square projection with a pyramidal roof.

The interior has an arcade of cylindrical piers with two-order brick arches, similar tower and chancel arches, a two-seat sedilia and piscina, and a small octagonal fifteenth-century font presumed to have come from elsewhere. Remains of a churchyard cross south of the nave are listed separately (1151601) and scheduled. The parish is Holy Trinity, Sykehouse.
