# St Andrew, Hingham

St Andrew’s is a Grade I Church of England parish church on Attleborough Road, Hingham, Norfolk, in the Diocese of Norwich.

## Overview

Historic England lists a large Decorated parish church built 1319–59 (NHLE 1051162; listed 26 November 1959). The fabric is flint with stone dressings and slate roofs: nave with clerestory, north and south aisles, a long chancel, two-storey north-east vestry, south porch and a five-storey west tower with set-back buttresses, embattled parapet and patterned friezes. Ballflower friezes run below the eaves of the aisles and nave. The east window is much altered and contains German glass of about 1500. The interior has tall six-bay arcades, a hammerbeam roof, and the fifteenth-century wall monument of Thomas Lord Morley. The parish is Hingham St Andrew.
