## Overview

Historic England’s palace listing records Henry VIII’s remodelling of the chapel in 1535–6 and the building of Chapel Court, as part of works of 1529–40 after Cardinal Wolsey’s palace of 1514 onwards. Historic Royal Palaces describe a vaulted ceiling installed by Henry VIII in the 1530s and an interior remodelled for Queen Anne by Sir Christopher Wren in 1710. The chapel remains in use for worship; visiting is included in palace admission. The chapel’s own site is chapelroyal.org. The listing covers the palace as a whole rather than a separate chapel entry.
