St Peter’s Roman Catholic church on Leeds Road, Bradford, is a 1933 Early Christian/Byzantine basilica by Charles Edward Fox and Son, now in the Parish of St Mary Bradford and the Diocese of Leeds. The church itself is not listed; the adjoining Georgian house (former presbytery) and stable block are Grade II.

Overview
Taking Stock and the parish history record a school-chapel of 1871 on Leeds Road, a larger school-chapel of 1905–06, and a parish erected on 7 November 1921. Charles Fox designed a permanent church to seat 700, built in 1933 to the right of the Greenhill house. The Bishop of Leeds, Dr J. Robert Cowgill, opened it on 27 June 1933. Cost was given as £15,000. The style follows Fox’s earlier basilicas at Heckmondwike and Sheffield: aisled nave with clerestory, polygonal chapels, a polygonal sanctuary and an attached south-west campanile, in red brick with mosaic panels on an austere west front.
The interior is light, with repeated round arches in painted plaster and no structural division between nave and half-domed apse. Peter Langtry-Langton reordered the sanctuary in 1978. Side chapels were refitted about 1950 by J. H. Langtry-Langton. Stations of the Cross are enamelled or painted glass mosaic. The church is now served from St Columba.
