Overview
The Index of Irish Methodist Churches records a Woodvale hall of 1896, closed on 25 June 1939, and a successor church of 1939 whose foundation stones were laid on 22 February 1939. The opening service was held on 27 April 1940. The architect was Richard Mills Close (1880–1949). The Dictionary of Irish Architects separately records Close’s 1939 lecture hall for the trustees of Woodvale Methodist Church.
