# St Andrew Presbyterian Church, Bangor

St Andrew’s Presbyterian Church at 111 Clandeboye Road, Bangor, County Down, is an unlisted mid-twentieth-century church of the Presbyterian Church in Ireland, opened in 1957.

## Overview

The congregation worshipped in temporary premises from 1948. The present building opened in April 1957, designed by Jack Tomlinson and built at a cost of about £30,000. Contemporary accounts describe rustic brick, a steeply pitched roof, a high-quality ceiling and an arched chancel; Tomlinson also gave two stained-glass windows. D1 and the Charity Commission place the church in Bangor, County Down (BT20 3JW), not the Welsh or other Bangors. National Churches Trust grant records list the building as unlisted. Listing URLs for Northern Ireland are not used in the Gazette list-entry field.
