Overview
A church here was recorded in 1102, when Henry Bisset granted it to Notley Abbey. Historic England describes fabric of the twelfth, early fourteenth and fifteenth centuries, restored in 1845: rubble stone and dressed limestone under a stone-slate roof, with west tower, aisled nave, chancel and Lady Chapel, south vestry and a fifteenth-century porch. The western bays of the north arcade may be late twelfth-century. The church was listed Grade I on 6 January 1966 (list entry 1318479).
The south arcade and a further nave bay belong to the fourteenth century; the porch and two-stage west tower are fourteenth- and fifteenth-century. The chancel was restored in 1890. The church adjoins Bradley House, seat of the Dukes of Somerset, and stands in the Cranborne Chase and West Wiltshire Downs National Landscape.
The legal parish is Maiden Bradley, in the Archdeaconry of Sarum. No separate official parish website was found.
