Overview
Historic England records fabric of the twelfth to sixteenth centuries, with an 1894 restoration and chancel rebuilding by Bodley and Garner. The church is of coursed limestone rubble and ashlar with lead roofs: a western tower, nave, north and south aisles, chancel, south porch and vestry. The fourteenth-century tower has a moulded west door, two-light belfry openings and a stair turret in the northeast angle.
The late twelfth-century north arcade has circular piers with waterleaf and other capitals. Lincolnshire Heritage Explorer notes that the 1894–96 restoration, funded by Charlotte Meynell-Ingram, supplied much of the present interior, including painted ceiling, rood screen and reredos. A reset brass of about 1405 to a member of the D'Alison family survives. The Church Heritage Record classifies the building as a festival church.
