# All Saints, Hartest

All Saints on the Green at Hartest, Suffolk, is a Grade I flint-and-stone parish church, mainly fifteenth century, in the Diocese of St Edmundsbury and Ipswich.

## Overview

Historic England records a flint and stone church mainly of the fifteenth century, considerably restored in the nineteenth century. The west tower is rebuilt in brick at the top with black-brick diapering and a castellated parapet. The north porch is of squared knapped flint; the north door is original heavy boarding, bevelled with fillets and nailed. The interior has moulded beams and joists to the aisle roofs, a carved cornice, and a seventeenth-century two-tier octagonal pulpit. Listed Grade I on 23 March 1961 (NHLE 1351776), graded for historical and topographical value.

The church stands on the south side of Hartest Green in the Babergh district. The parish is Hartest with Boxted.
