# All Saints, Eaton

All Saints is a Grade II Church of England parish church on Main Street, Eaton, Nottinghamshire, in the Diocese of Southwell and Nottingham.

## Overview

Historic England lists a parish church rebuilt in 1860 by G. Shaw of Manchester for H. Bridgeman Simpson of Babworth Hall (NHLE 1223917; listed 1 February 1967). The Southwell Church History Project dates construction to 1857–58, replacing a dilapidated Norman church demolished after 1856, and records consecration on 17 August 1858. The fabric is Steetley stone with tile roofs: nave, north porch, chancel, south vestry and a ridge bell turret. A fifteenth-century piscina survives in the south chancel wall, and an eighteenth-century monument to John, Elizabeth and family (1726) is in the vestry. The parish is Eaton and Gamston, in the Elkesley group. No separate parish website beyond A Church Near You was found.
