# All Saints, Allhallows

All Saints is a Grade I parish church on the high street at Allhallows, on the Hoo Peninsula in Kent, in the Diocese of Rochester.

## Overview

Historic England lists a parish church of the twelfth to fifteenth centuries, restored in 1886–91 by Ewan Christian. The fabric is flint and stone with a lead roof. The plan is a west tower, nave with north and south aisles and south porch, and chancel. The listing dates the west end of the nave and the south arcade to the twelfth century, the north arcade to the early thirteenth century, a wide fourteenth-century chancel arch, and a fifteenth-century clerestory. Christian almost completely rebuilt the chancel and added the south porch.

Inside, the north arcade has round piers; the south arcade has octagonal piers with crude scalloped capitals. Fittings recorded in the list include a moulded south interior doorway with a contemporary oak door, a fourteenth-century chancel screen, an eighteenth-century pulpit with tester, and a box pew reset in the south aisle.
